What is the Vision for Miracle Mission Hope House?
The vision for MM Hope House is to transform lives through, Building, Restoration and Empowerment of the community and mankind. We are called Miracle Mission Hope House; however our Mission is a Miracle. We understand that Building is the fundamental substratum of connecting with the human heart and mind. We are building the foundation of education and awareness brick by brick; restoring hope through giving love, compassion, peace and harmony. This sets the atmosphere for a Miracle, Empowerment of self-awareness, self-worthiness and self-esteem. This leads to an unbounded consciousness of which you are and who you are, and the realization that there is a force that is greater than us, which connects us together as one.
When did Miracle Mission Hope House become an organization?
We were incorporated in December 2004; however we were established in 2005. We began providing hot meals, clothing and toiletries to the homeless. After about two years of serving the homeless the volunteers and I decided we wanted to do more. So we attended classes at Georgia Piedmont College to become certified GED Literacy teachers. Our site also became certified. Everything seemed to grow from there.
Why is Miracle Mission Hope House different from any other non-profit organization?
Miracle Mission Hope House is different from many non-profit organizations, based on its unique approach. We are a faith based organization; however we serve all religious backgrounds, and assist mankind through the universal language, love, that everyone understands and needs. We exercise this concept even in the classroom with educational tools such as life class. We invite those that are listening to come and join us for a session and see for yourself.
What would you say is the best part about being a part of MM Hope House?
The best part about being part of MM Hope House is the individual stories, like providing community service for a young man that needed 24 hours of court ordered community service. He completed his community hours of court ordered community service in one week and wanted to continue working with us. He was moved by the love, and compassion that flowed through the organization and he expressed it to us. We were moved by his love and dedication to MM Hope House. He came in immediately working with the organization 100% as if he had been with the organization for years. He immediately understood the mission and went to work on empowering the organization to become better equipped to serve our clients. After learning more about him we realized that he was a man that had great accomplishments himself, but was willing to add more to his already busy schedule, which allowed us to know he had a love for all mankind. Especially since he spends most of his time denying himself by saving lives in the medical field. He became one of our teachers of science, physics, job readiness & life skills. In June 2012, he became our Vice-Chairperson. He stated he met his destiny through a speeding Ticket and we feel we met our destiny through a Speedy Gonzalez Ticket. Providing court ordered community service brought destiny together when George Nichols and Marlene Lemons met.

You can send your letters of love and support to our address or via internet at www.mmhopehouse.org. We are a 501C3 organization where you can make a 100% tax deductible donation. Follow the law of giving which simply states, “The universe operates through dynamic exchange … giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives,” Deepak Chopra.
What can we look forward to in the near future for MM Hope House? Great things are happening!
Miracle Mission is growing toward becoming one of the top leading organization in Henry County, meeting every need of a family. The goal is to partner with enough businesses, corporations, organizations to meet a family’s entire need from food, clothing, health care, etc.
What do you hope the legacy of MM Hope House will be?
We hope that the MM Hope House legacy will be that we changed lives through sharing love, compassion, motivation and encouragement.
